Such a beautiful theater!! Mark Lowry and The Sound and Endless Highway. Mark is loved dearly by all who know him. Lakeland is a very lovely town.
We were there for the first time during October and were able to see two features, Rosemarie's Baby and Halloween. It was a total blast to the past and we totally enjoyed both. They also had an organist playing until the main feature started. The popcorn was the best I've had in a long time and the hot dogs were delicious. The staff was great and very helpful to any questions asked. I told my mother about our experience and she said it sounded like the theater she went to growing up. We will be going back.

My husband and I love going on date nights here! They show some really wonderful movies and the prices are excellent! We also love that it's a historic building with a lot of charm!
The Polk theater is an amazing adventure into the past. The theater itself is gorgeous. I'm glad they have a more modern ratio screen so movies look great. Ticket prices and concessions are extremely reasonable. Overall it's a great experience like movie going used to be!
I love the Polk Theater and all the events that they host from performing arts to movies. The concessions are very reasonable and the atmosphere is amazing to look at. It is a very historic site which can cause the limited parking to be an issue but, there is plenty of parking in the surrounding area. Definitely recommend this for a night out.
This is my new favorite movie spot. Enjoyed my time here, beautiful venue, an organ player before the event, cheap tickets, and so much seating! It was such a fun experience, and much more enjoyable than the standard theatre
